Our enquiry question this half term is 'Where does our food come from?'
We are going to focus our learning around the story 'James and the Giant Peach.' The children will be using this book across all subject areas to enrich their learning.We will be exploring lots of different elements but particularly looking at growing things.

*PE days: Tuesday and Thursday (this is subject to change, please ensure full kit is in school every day)
*Read at least 3 times per week
*Bring school book bag with reading record and book into school every day.
*Home learning is handed out on a Friday and expected back Wednesday.

We will then move onto looking at 'Where our food comes from?' and use the book 'James and the Giant Peach.'

Welcome back! I hope you have all had a lovely relaxing time during the school holidays.
Our learning focus this half term will begin with a whole school topic - 'Africa.' In Year One will be have a special focus on 'The Lion King.' We will then move onto 'Who lives in a house like this?' where we will be investigating our local area and fairy tales.
