Autumn 1

Welcome back! I hope you have all had a lovely holiday and made lots of exciting memories, I look forward to hearing all about them.

This first half term we have three fantastic topics that we will be exploring. To begin with we are going to focus on 'The World of Work', this is something we are looking at as a whole school. In Year 1 we will be looking at people who help us and what we would love to be when we are older. After that we will be developing our knowledge of our local area and what beautiful things we have in Whiston. This will lead on to looking at houses and how they are all different. Do you think Cinderella lives in the same type of house as you do?
