Week 5- WB- 29/06/20

Happy Monday!

I hope you enjoyed last week’s sunshine! Just three weeks left of year 4, until summer and they you’ll be year 5! I’ve missed you all lots and can’t wait to see you when you return…

Last week in topic you learnt about the Ancient Greeks Olympics, this week I would like you to use your knowledge and imagine it was you participating the the  Ancient Greeks Olympics. I would like you to write a diary in the style of recount about experience.

In maths you will be continuing to use oak academy to learn about symmetry.

In reading we have finished reading Stig of the Dump, sorry to those of you who were enjoying it. You could purchase the book to continue reading it or you could watch the film for free on YouTube. The new book we are reading is Jazz Harper space explorer. Something very different and much more modern. The full book is available on our year 4 page.

Food chains will be our focus this week in science, which I’m sure many of you will find interesting.

As always if you are proud of a particular piece of work send it in for me to take a look!

Lots of love,

Miss Hunt x
