Literacy Week 3

This week, the focus of our Reading and SPAG lessons continues to be Harry Potter. The activities this week cover lots of SPAG revision of objectives that we’ve already covered so try to think back to all the annoying songs and rhymes Mrs Denwood taught you. Think about Harry Styles and “I say PROGRESSIVE, you say…”.

Writing will see us focus on a wonderful picture and your aim is to use it as inspiration to create a story titled “The Skypath”.

We would like you to focus on the following learning objectives:

WALT use figurative language to describe setting, feelings and characters

WALT use speech to advance the action

WALT ensure that speech is punctuated correctly.
