Y3 & Y4 Tag Rugby

After lots of lunch time practice some of our year three's and four's headed up to Thomas Rotherham College to compete against other local schools in a Tag Rugby tournament. To make it an even more exciting experience some of the Rotherham Titan players James Lasis and Byron Hodge were also there to give us some last minute coaching and advice.

All the children played exceptionally well and despite the cold weather had an amazing time and although it wasn’t a victory for Whiston we certainly came back to school with smiles on our faces after a fantastic afternoon.

Well dome everyone!

Sport Relief Day

On Friday 23rd of March the whole school took part in our amazing sport relief day to raise money for Sport Relief. The day was packed with lots of fun activities including Class marathon, RUFC skills workshop, learning a sport relief dance and song, Pilates, designing and creating rice cake faces and much more. The children all had a fantastic day, developing and learning new skills and raised lots of money (Total amount tbc). Thanks for your support!
